A Zoning Text Amendment was approved and recommended to the legislative bodies at the March 21st Planning Commission meeting. The Warren County Fiscal Court approved the changes on April 25, 2024, with additional action expected by the remaining legislative bodies in the coming weeks. Click here to see the proposed changes. Changes include regulations for medical cannabis, allowing digital billboards, specifying locations for EV charging stations, manufactured home definitions, adding enclosed self-storage as a separate type, allowing flexible signage options for developments and others. The legislative bodies will consider the changes over the next few months.
Our meetings are at the Warren County Courthouse Fiscal Court Room, 429 East 10th Avenue unless otherwise noted. Planning Commission and Board of Adjustment meetings will be available live on our YouTube Channel and on cable channel 195. To view meeting information select/hover over Boards then choose the appropriate board. On mobile devices and certain browsers, select the menu button at the top right, then the + to expand the boards sub-menu, then select the appropriate board.
