All Historic Preservation Board meetings are now held in the Warren County Courthouse Fiscal Court Room, 429 East 10th Avenue across the street from Bowling Green City Hall, unless otherwise noted.

Design Review for Local Historic Districts

An owner of property with a Local Historic Designation must submit a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) application before making any exterior changes, new construction projects or demolition. Applications for new construction projects or demolition requests – as well as some exterior changes – must be approved by the Historic Preservation Board at their regularly scheduled meeting: on the fourth Thursday of every month, 5 p.m. at the Warren County Courthouse in the Fiscal Court Room. Other exterior change, sign, and fence applications can be approved by CCPC staff within one week. A COA fee must be submitted with all applications.
